Drying Time Summary
Here are the recommended dry times for each step of the touch up process.

All times below assume application temperature is above 60 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity is below 50%.
Note that heavier applications, lower temperature and higher humidity will increase dry times.
Bottle Touch Ups
Between primer coats: 15-30 minutes
After primer, before painting: 30 minutes – 24 hours
Between base color coats: 15-30 minutes
After base color, before clear coat: 30 minutes – 24 hours
Between clear coats: 15-30 minutes
After clear coat, before hand wash: 72 hours
After clear coat, before machine wash/polishing/waxing: 30 days
After clear coat, before ceramic coat/film wrap: 60 days
Aerosol Touch Ups
Between primer coats: 30 minutes
After primer, before painting: 60 minutes – 24 hours
Between base color coats: 10-20 minutes
After base color, before clear coat: 60 minutes – 24 hours
Between clear coats: 30 minutes
After clear coat, before polish: 72 hours
After clear coat, before hand wash: 72 hours
After clear coat, before machine wash: 30 days
After clear coat, before waxing: 30 days
After clear coat before applying ceramic coat/film wrap: 60 days
